I’m Franya and I’ve been where you are.

Do I Stay or Do I Go?

I see you sitting there, staring at that question that keeps you awake at 3 AM. As a military wife myself, I know exactly what you’re feeling right now.

Maybe you’ve been the one holding everything together through those endless deployments – two, three weeks at a time, sometimes months. You’ve moved every few years, starting over again and again, watching your own dreams get packed up in boxes while you followed his career. And now you’re wondering if this is how you want to spend the rest of your life.

I get it. I’ve been exactly where you are.

You sacrificed your career for all those moves. You left friends behind every time you got settled somewhere. You managed the household, the kids, the emergencies – all of it – while he was gone. And sometimes it feels like you’ve lost yourself completely in the process.

The loneliness is real. The civilian friends try to understand, but how do you explain what it’s like to be essentially a single parent for months at a time, or how hard it is to build a life when you know you’ll be moving again soon?

You’re not broken. You’re not being dramatic. And you’re definitely not alone.

What I discovered is this: You don’t have to figure this out by yourself.

I’m Franya, and I’ve walked this exact path. After my own marriage ended unexpectedly, I rebuilt my life from absolutely nothing – worked three jobs, slept on a friend’s couch for two months, then moved into an apartment where my sister later joined me, and slowly figured out who I was outside of being someone’s wife.

Now I help women like us navigate this impossible decision and whatever comes next. Not through statistics or clinical advice, but through real conversations with someone who understands what 2 AM worry feels like and why “just leave him” isn’t helpful advice when your whole life is structured around his career.

Whether you stay or go, you deserve to feel like yourself again. You deserve a life that feels like yours.

Are You Stuck On The Fence?

That exhausting place between staying and leaving, where your mind goes in circles, and nobody seems to truly understand.

You don't need more opinions. You need clarity.

R.I.S.E. Framework Section (Methodology)

What Is SHero Empowered About?

Are you among the military spouses facing unique challenges, or part of the broader community where many feel lost, overwhelmed, or alone after divorce or losing your partner?

As a military spouse, maybe you sacrificed your career through constant moves every 2-3 years, deployments lasting weeks or months, and the reality that only 33% of military families feel they belong to their civilian communities.

Your future plans were shattered. Everything changed in an instant on your journey called life.

What did you give up?

Your career opportunities due to frequent relocations? Your support system with each move? The financial security that came with two incomes?

The loneliness and anxiety crept in – magnified by being far from family, isolated in unfamiliar communities, or managing everything solo during deployments.

Anger consumed you.
You lost yourself and your community.
Rebuilding emotionally and financially seems impossible when 25% of military spouses report food insecurity and struggle to cover basic expenses.

Friends try to relate but don’t understand military life’s unique challenges.

They tell you to move on, even though you might be among the 12.5% of military spouses who screen positive for major depression or the 16.7% experiencing generalized anxiety – rates nearly double the general population. In fact, 44% of military spouses have sought counseling during their partner’s active duty service.

You need more.

-You want women who’ve been there.
-Who understand deployment loneliness, the sacrifice of following his career, and the strength it takes to rebuild your identity after your life was structured around his service.
-Who will support you until you find your light again.

SHero Empowered Gives You:
🗸 Judgment-free space to open up, be heard, even scream
🗸 Genuine connections with those who understand both military and civilian transitions
🗸 Practical advice and motivation from women further along the journey
🗸 Structure and accountability to move forward after feeling stuck
🗸 Community that gets the unique challenges of military life and starting over

More than just an online community, it’s an empowerment circle where dreams reignite, and new visions are born through empathy, courage, and shared understanding of sacrifice and strength.

Hi, I’m Franya.

As a military wife, I’d learned to manage everything alone during my husband’s frequent deployments.

But in 1988, I came home to find my Senior Master Sergeant husband had emptied our three-bedroom house and our bank accounts while I was at work.

That sudden ending forced me to rebuild from scratch, working multiple jobs and rediscovering who I was beyond my marriage.

Thankfully, those deployment skills – adapting to uncertainty, handling crises solo, and creating stability from chaos – became my foundation for starting over.

The same independence that helped me thrive during military life guided me through complete financial and emotional recovery.

I know what it’s like to face a relationship crossroads. And for over 30 years, I’ve been helping women navigate this journey with straight-talking support and practical guidance.

I don’t sugarcoat reality. I do shine light on the path forward.
